I may not have put many posts on my blog but I have been painting. The weather has improved of late and I've been out more too. Here is my latest effort... this is a harbour town in Turkey. The name escapes me and anyway it's unpronouncable. This painting is in Acrylics and is about A3 size.

Well, the warmer weather is here thank goodness! The primroses are out in the churchyard and looking fabulous! I have beeen painting as usual and have nearly finished my latest effort. This is a place in Turkey. I have a sister wo goes there often and she sent me this photo to do a painting from. This acrylic offering is my second attempt. The row of buildings in the top half of this painting are undergoing major rebuilding works!! I wasn't happy with how they turned out nor the underlying drawing. I will post the new and improved version when it is completed.
The one below was the first attempt in watercolour.

One of four butterflies I did some years ago. This one is a British Blue, the others are a Meadowbrown, Comma and a Peacock.
These are part of a set of small paintings, each one only about 9"x9" Framed.
The rest of the set are now sold.
I am no longer a member of The Society of Feline Artists. It was becoming too difficult to get to London to take paintings for the show, then collect them a month later, not to mention the Private view in between. Too expensive for a start! I have gone back to watercolours and surprised myself a little by remembering what to do with them! I hope to have some work before too long to show you.
